It is the temperature that you need to keep a check on. They are meant to run at 100% for times it is needed. Originally posted by slayor3000:Do not worry do much about damaging Gpu or Cpu. Regarding the 4GB patch, can you elaborate on what that is? I have previously heard of that when trying to find a fix for Deadly Premonition, another game that is very notorious for being unplayable due to its constant crashing.

I did end up finishing the game in DX9 like you said, just sucks I was unable to use the superior graphics, which is why I bought a gaming pc in the first place.

Or a user end problemĪs I mentioned in my other reply, I get that the engine is old (I usually play old games on an old pc I have) but DLC came out in 2019. The main culprits of crashing are usually multiplayer, XMAX, anything that pushes the engine to render a lot of entities ends up making the game unstable and randomly close. If it's related to memory, you could try patching the TQ.exe in the game directory with the 4gb patch. Maybe it has something to do with the exclusive fullscreen mode? DX11 only has windowed borderless, so maybe your PC doesn't like that. You say DX9 works fine, so I would suggest using that version. Even if you turn off core 0, it will just overload the next one over, you cannot change the way its programmed to distribute utilisation over all cores.
